newbie needing help

I would like to first apologize if this question sounds a bit silly. However, I'm currently in school to get my certifications and I was wondering if it would be wise for me to freshen up on my VB or C before trying to code in .net. I've taken the classes before however, it's been awhile and I'm noticing I'm a bit lost when trying to code in .net. Is there a quicker way for me to catch up or no?any advice would be greatly appreciated.

VB and VB.Net are very different so I would just go straight for VB.Net. C# is a new language and bears more resemblance to Java than C. So best bet is to go to the resources tab onwww.asp.net and donwload the starterkits and tutorials.

Thank you for your suggestion I will be sure to download the starterkits and tutorials.
